Due to human destruction, habitat loss and other factors, the proportion of endangered species on the earth are growing at an alarming rate. Before the industrial society, birds died out every 300 years and animals every 8000 years on average. But since the industrial society, the rate of species extinction on earth has exceeded 1000 times that of natural extinction. 1 / 8 of the world’s plants, 1 / 4 of the mammals, 1 / 9 of the birds, 1 / 5 of the reptiles, 1 / 4 of the amphibians, 1 / 3 of the fish are endangered. So it is urgent to protect animals. The whole world is calling for the protection of animals. The core content of animal protection is to prohibit the maltreatment and mutilation of any animal and the hunting and killing of wild animals. Environmental pollution is also the cause of the extinction of many wild species. For economic purposes, there are countless behaviors of human beings to release toxic substances to nature: chemical products, automobile exhaust, industrial waste-water, toxic metals, crude oil leakage, solid waste, decontaminant, refrigerant, preservative, water pollution, acid rain, greenhouse effect, plastic pollution Even the noise pollution of the military and ships in the ocean is interfering with the communication behavior and feeding ability of cetaceans. Scientists have found that amphibians and reptiles, which are highly sensitive to environmental quality, are disappearing on a large scale. With the increase of temperature, the enhancement of ultraviolet light, the division of habitat and the overflowing of chemical substances, the chirping of cicadas and frogs have become a childhood memory. Different from other factors, the impact of pollution on species is subtle, cumulative and chronic 「soft knife」 that causes life to die, and the degree of harm is comparable to the loss of biological environment.
